Client: ACV Auctions is a company that facilitates online car auctions for franchise and used car dealers through a mobile app.

Challenge: ACV Auctions needed a way to streamline the car auction process for dealers, eliminating the inefficiencies of traditional live auctions that required travel.

Helm's Solution: Helm partnered with ACV Auctions to develop a user-friendly mobile app that allows dealers to bid on and purchase vehicles online. This eliminated the need for dealers to travel to physical auctions, saving them both time and money.

Results: The mobile app was a success, with over 233 cars being auctioned through the platform in the first two months. Since then, ACV Auctions has grown into a major player in the online used car auction industry.

ODL Orthodontics

Client: ODL Orthodontics Lab is a company that specializes in clear aligner therapy.

Challenge: OnCore Golf wanted to foster a culture of innovation within its company and leverage technology to improve the golfing experience for its customers. It specifically sought to enhance its existing GolfBoost app, a mobile application designed to help golfers improve their game.

Helm's Solution: Helm partnered with OnCore Golf to identify areas for improvement within the GolfBoost app. Through user interviews, Helm discovered key user pain points, including a desire for immediate swing analysis and the ability to access core functionalities without a paywall.

Results: Helm addressed these concerns by redesigning the app for enhanced user-friendliness and implementing features that allowed users to view their swing videos immediately. They also collaborated with the OnCore team to establish development priorities and guide the app's ongoing development.

43North

Client: 43North is a startup accelerator program in Buffalo, New York.

Challenge: 43North was struggling with its existing application process, which was inefficient and cumbersome for both applicants and administrators. The manual process slowed down application review times and created a bottleneck for the accelerator program.
